The photocard driving license came by registered mail today! mum said i looked fierce in the pic. showed her my matric card, my 11b and my driving. over these 3 yrs, i can clearly see a change.

Used to be abit chubby rnd the cheeks and pimpled face in the matric card. 11b saw a Francis without glasses and slightly slim faced with pimples still showing. the driving license? a chiseled face with a slight smile and short hair. minus the glasses and pimples. (haha must be the lighting effects from the camera)

oh well, now that my license is here. I'd like to buy a car. AM I CRAZY! haha sadly, nope not going to buy my own car just yet. don't see an immediate need for it, and i can't financially support the vehicle. my expenditure as it is, is already abit over the roof with me buying new toys and such now and then. haha, maybe next yr after the triangle plate is removed and i'm more settled in my unit will i think bout my own *vroom vroom* hehe

once again i'm thinking of new toys to buy AGAIN!~

what's wrong with me! i don't print money... why do i act and spend money as if i printed them... well now currently the top 3 things flogging my mind is a notebook, Creative Zen Micro and Nokia 8910i

notebook
i guess i'm asking for this just becoz i realised i can't survive without computers... actually is more like 30% for music, 20% for Word/Excel and 50% for internet. how cool it'd be if i had notebook which could hook to the net (i think only place i go with wireless access is TP...) dun need high end stuff, something with P4 2.4 above, 512 RAM, 30gig, wireless card and speakers would do. think 2k below can get.

Zen Micro
i can't live without my mp3's. first thing i do when i'm at home is switch on the comp and play my mp3's. i currently own a 256mb creative mp3 but i want MORE! haha, the same 50 tracks without changing much songs getting boring. haha, to waste or not to waste the $500?

Nokia 8910i
need a non-cam phone soon. so thought of something more stylish and classy as well as user-friendly, sms-friendly. the nokia 8k series have always caught my eye. since 8850 in sec sch days. todays went to SO many shops with denise... but only found one counter by tamp interchange that carrys a second hand of that model, the stuff said it carrys low trade in value, thus ppl tend to just keep it (collectors item) anyway it costs $350, a thought crossed my mind to get it from ebay (NEW)... well well, more homework to do before i make the step forward

Finally after 6mths of taking driving lessons, i went to take my TP this morning. so stressed i tell u. didn't know anythingor what to do. Went inside gong gong then put my documents into wrong box. then this girl (quite chio, but deff more older than me) told me put wrong box. then i embarassed. hehe *blush blush* then chatted with her before the testers came. her second time taking, my first time.

First was the circuit, anyhow anyhow zip zip here and there. then out into the main road. route no.4 at 11am was quite clear, very easy to drive. at the end of it all, return to the test centre. got my pointers read out and told i could start driving on the roads. so happy. hehe, to think the tester was so fierce when out on the roads beside me.
tester: "Turn here",
Me: "here is it?",
tester: "yeah lah, then where else u want to turn, *mutters siao*"
and i thought that was the end of it man. haha

spent 2K on it in all. 6mths long. countless hours of lessons.

it was my birthday!
so happy happy happy!

Spent bout 1 week planning and preparing for it. buying food with my mummy, buying the cake with alicia and pam... and many many other preparations... including asking my dad if i could use the house for the party. That was like the most difficult task of the lot of chores i had to do. it was also the deciding factor to if i was having a party or not. haha one word "NO" and well... that'd have been the end of the party

the morning i celebrated it, infact the whole day that i was to celebrate it was spent back in TP, YES Temasek Poly. I-Guides! Lovely activity once every year. where spontanious ppl all arnd TP gather to train and make TP Open House a HUGE success. haha, ok lah, I-Guides ain't the only bunch of ppl who make TP OH a happening thing every year, but i'd like to think that we ARE! haha. anyways... they sabo'ed me quite bad at the end of the day... pink tank top... 200ppl looking... and bombed by a barrage of water bombs. all caught on Movie. if interested to watch pls contact me for more info. I MUST BE MAD!

The party itself, rushed home by 7.30pm, bathed by 7.33 pm! BUT... waited till 9pm before the bulk of the crowd came... all that rushing for nothing, haha what to do? first birthday party i throw for myself.

10pm house is crowded. 33+- ppl squashed into a 3rm house in tampines. 12mn when ash arrive, cut cake! haha will attempt to link photos i uploaded to this blog soon. keep an eye out for it!
